50 things most guys dont know about girls

1. Girls hate it when guys say perverted things.

2. Girls like to be told that they're beautiful, rather than hot, pretty, cute, or sexy. It just gives more meaning.

3. Girls love to feel special, even though they might not show it.

4. Girls talk about EVERYTHING with their girlfriends. So that means, you're possibly 90% of their conversation. And believe me, trash talking takes up most of it, unless you're a Greek god, which you're not.

5. When girls are online, they want the guy to instant message them first, and they literally burn up inside when they're not messaged. Of course, when they are messaged, they play it all cool and go "oh, hey" as if they just discovered your message.

6. Girls have a thing for guys who dress GQ.

7. Girls love it when guys are over 6 feet.

8. Girls find it awfully attractive when guys wear just a white t-shirt and jeans and yet they happen to look awesome in it.

9. Remember. Sense of humor. GIRLS LOVE GUYS WHO CAN MAKE THEM LAUGH.

10. Girls hate guys with bad hygiene. So put on that deodorant and clip those nails!

11. Girls love guys who know how to dance.

12. Girls love it when a guy pulls them close by the waist.

13. Girls go crazy when a guy smells good.

14. Girls hate cocky guys.

15. Usually, when a girl is sarcastically mean to you, it means they're attracted to you, but are afraid that they'll be showing too much.

16. A kiss on the hand with the right timing can be a REAL TURN-ON.

17. Girls have a thing for guys who sport blazers with a destroyed tee underneath.

18. Girls have a thing for guys who have messy sex hair.

19. Some girls can think about their crushes for 18+ hours straight. No exaggeration.

20. When a guy says something really sentimental, girls will remember it forever.

21. The smallest gestures, the smallest stares, and the smallest statements could make a girl's year. No joke.

22. Girls get embarassed easily, even if guys don't know what the hell just happened.

23. Girls daydream about their crushes. Like getting married, going on dates, kissing, etc. They just don't show it.

24. Girls HATE players.

25. Guys who can sing are a major turn on.

26. Guitarists are sexy.

27. When a girl is upset and wants you to listen, she wants you to listen. Don't give her advice unless she asks for it.

28. When a girl is crying, she feels a lot safer if you pull her close and tell her that everything is going to be alright.

29. Girls love it when guys say their name.

30. Girls don't like short tempered guys.

31. Sometimes girls just wish that guys would notice when they get a new haircut or if they're wearing eyeliner.

32. When a girl calls you her loser or her dork, it usually means she's attracted to you.

33. Girls find it a lot more romantic if you just fall asleep with them holding them with your arms rather than having a night of hot kinky sex.

34. Girls will never say I love you unless you say it first. But that doesn't mean she doesn't want to scream it from the top of her lungs.

35. Girls love confidence.

36. Girls don't like rock-hard guys. They like to know that guys can have a sensitive side too.

37. There comes a time when girls have needs too. Enough said.

38. A girl will cry over you a lot more than you think.

39. A girl's wounds can last awhile. And when I say awhile, I mean awhile.

40. Girls hate guys who smell bad.

41. When a girl cooks for you, you know you mean a lot to her.

42. Girls don't like it when you think other women are hot and say it so.

43. Eyeliner is a girl's essential product. Don't ever try to take it away from her.

44. Girls hate it, absolutely HATE IT when guys don't keep their promises. It throws them over the top.

45. Every girl fantasizes about her wedding. Her dress, her flowers, her shoes, her hair. More than you think.

46. Girls hate it when other girls flirt. Yet they flirt themselves too. Ah, the beauty of irony.

47. Girls will save instant message conversations when they like a guy.

48. A phone call, a text message, or a single Hershey's kiss will mean A LOT MORE than a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates on her birthday.

49. Every girl think she's pretty in one way or another. They just won't admit it.

50. Girls are VERY SELF-CONSCIOUS when it comes to their looks. No makeup is a very sensitive topic to them. ;P

The launch of two Blu-ray Disc players by Sony marks the next stage in the development of the high-definition disc player market. With an estimated price of €599 and packed with new AV technologies, the BDP-S300 is is set to bring Blu-ray to a huge new audience. The BDP-S500 is a high-end alternative aimed at customers demanding a definitive high-definition viewing experience. The estimated price for the BDP-S500 is €899. The BDP-S300 will be available from mid of September and the BDP-S500 from the end of October. To demonstrate the growing catalogue of Blu-ray format movies, customers who purchase either player in Europe will receive a copy of the Spider-Man High Definition Trilogy on Blu-ray Disc.

Sony BDP-S300 Blu ray player
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has already released more than 40 Blu-ray Disc format (BD) movies, with more than 30 titles scheduled for release between now and Christmas. The Spider-Man High Definition Trilogy is a three-pack release of all three films on Blu-ray High-Def, allowing fans an exclusive opportunity to collect Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 all in high definition. “Blu-ray is taking off, and the Sony BDP-S300 player is designed to give many more people a way of joining the party in style,” says Hiro Shinohara, Director of Home Video Europe at Sony Europe. “Whether you opt for the BDP-S300 or the high-end BDP-S500, you will be able to appreciate the unique fidelity to the cinematic original offered by 24p True Cinema technology, something not currently available from all manufacturers. You will also get support for the new, wider x.v.Colour space used by the latest generation of HD camcorders, plus one-touch operation thanks to Bravia Theatre Sync.”

Sony Blu ray players - 1080p Full HD output
Both models can output 1080p Full HD via a single-cable HDMI interface, currently the highest possible HD format available for consumers. So everyone with a Full HD LCD TV can finally appreciate the true capabilities of their set. The ultimate HD resolution is partnered with 7.1 channel Linear PCM and Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound audio for home cinema of the highest standard. The BDP-S500 goes even further, with Dolby TrueHD decoding and Bit Stream Output for DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD audio signals via HDMI ver 1.3. When using either model, even your existing collection of DVDs can look better thanks to a 1080p upscaling feature that works with HDMI-equipped 1080p-capable HDTVs, enhancing and sharpening the picture as you watch.

Sony BDP-S300 & Sony BDP-S500 players
Film lovers will also relish 24p True Cinema. Cine cameras actually film at 24 frames per second, but televisions operate at a higher frame rate, so conversion has traditionally been necessary. The result is a 4% discrepancy from the original - the film broadcast on TV or played on a VHS or DVD player actually runs 4% faster than the original, and some soundtrack rises by 4% in pitch. When the Sony BDP-S300 or Sony BDP-S500 is connected to a TV with 24p capability such as the new Bravia X-Series, the original 24 frames per second are played just as the camera first recorded them. You see - and hear - exactly what the director intended.

Bravia Theatre Sync technology

Another reason why these players will fit so comfortably at the centre of the digital living room is Bravia Theatre Sync technology. This uses HDMI to let you control a home theatre setup using a single button on a single remote instead of having to switch on and select inputs on several devices one after another. So all you need to do is press Play on the player’s remote and the TV switches on and selects it as the primary input. When you’re done, turning off the TV with its remote will automatically shut down the player as well and any other components of your setup connected to it by HDMI.

Sony S500 Blu ray player - AVC-HD discs
Convenience - and style - of a different kind is evident in the design of the Sony BDP-S500. This model features a motorised sliding panel at the front, which opens automatically when you load or eject a disc. Both models support the new x.v.Colour standard, an international standard defining a colour range for moving images approximately twice that of sRGB. This means the players can handle AVC-HD discs recorded by new-generation camcorders that use x.v.Colour and reproduce the more natural and lifelike colours in full. As you would expect the Sony BDP-S300 and Sony BDP-S500 can handle a wide variety of formats and media, including the still centrally important CD. In addition each supports BD-ROM, DVD, and DVD video playback from DVD/DVD±R/±RW encoded discs, as well as MP3 audio files and JPEG images stored on DVD±R/±RW discs. The BDP-S500 will also support BD-R/RE discs. (source:http://www.letsgodigital.org)

With the 2012 London Olympics gaining more than its fare share of column inches at the moment it seems that most everyone has forgotten all about the poor old Beijing event happening next year. Everyone except Samsung that is, because as an official world-wide partner it has just released this trouser-tent tasty mobile phone to celebrate.

A slider, as the very best Samsung phones always are, the E848 is a ludicrous 10.7mm thin when closed, offers up a middling 2Mp camera, is very shiny, very reflective and very easy on the eye.

It will be delivered bearing the 2008 Beijing Olympics logo (thank God it's not for the 2012 Olympics then - no one would want that logo on their moby!), though the limited details mean it may not be arriving for a little while. The E848 is actually only one of three mobiles Samsung is releasing to coincide with its partnership of the Games, but the others just looked too damn boring to talk about.
